1. Where is the International Bilingual Association (IBA) registered?
IBA is registered in Melbourne, Australia, according to The Associations Incorporation Act. The registration number of IBA is A0046002Y. The Head Office of IBA is located at: Suite 405, 26-28 Wills Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, Australia.
2. How does IBA serve its members?
There are a wide range of services and programs available to IBA members including: (1) Bilingual Weekly Magazine; (2) Bilingual Library; (3) Bilingual Forum; (4) Online Language Courses; (5) Language Exchange Programs; (6) Study Tours; (7) Conferences and Seminars; (8) Consulting Services for Overseas Study, Work, and Immigration.
3. What content is in the IBA Bilingual Weekly Magazine?
The English-Chinese Bilingual Weekly Magazine provides practical and interesting material for language and cultural studies. Some regular columns in the magazine include: (1) Maxims; (2) Humours and Jokes; (3) Popular Songs; (4) Language Quiz;(5) Knowledge Quiz. This magazine is free to all members.
4. What content is in the IBA Bilingual Library?
The Bilingual Library provides various levels of reading resources, including some multimedia materials. All the resources are in English-Chinese bilingual versions, thus very useful for enhancing language skills. IBA Free members have access to a selected part of the library. IBA Associate and Full Members have full access to the library.
5. What is the Bilingual Forum used for?
The Bilingual Forum is used for our members to share and exchange their language learning experiences and ideas. IBA Free members have no access to this forum. Only IBA Associate and Full Members have access to the forum.
6. What types of online language courses does IBA offer?
The following online language courses are available to IBA Associate and Full Members:
(1) English 101: A beginning level course of English for those who have not learned the language before, or have very little knowledge of English. After finishing this course, the student should have learned about 500 English words and some common expressions.
(2) English 102: A continuation of English 101. Additional 500 English words and everyday English conversations will be introduced.
(3) English 201: A continuation of English 102. Additional 500 English words， situational English conversations and basic readings will be introduced.
(4) English 202: A continuation of English 201. Additional 500 English words and situational English conversations and topic-based readings will be introduced.
(5) Chinese 101: A beginning level course of Chinese for those who have not learned the language before, or have very little knowledge of Chinese. After finishing this course, the student should have learned about 500 Chinese characters and some common expressions.
(6) Chinese 102: A continuation of Chinese 101. Additional 500 Chinese characters and everyday Chinese conversations will be introduced.
(7) Chinese 201: A continuation of Chinese 102. Additional 500 Chinese characters, situational Chinese conversations and basic readings will be introduced.
(8) Chinese 202: A continuation of Chinese 201. Additional 500 Chinese characters and situational Chinese conversations and topic-based readings will be introduced.
IBA Free Members have no access to the online language courses. IBA Associate Members can select any one of the online language courses. IBA Full Members can select any two of the online language courses.
7. How does the Language Exchange Program work?
The Language Exchange Program is designed for IBA Associate and Full Members to teach and learn from each other with partnerships between English and Chinese language learners. One-to-one partnership will be pre-arranged based on the course enrolment information and requirements provided by each member. The IBA Administration will try its best to match each member's needs with each partnership proposal.
8. How will IBA Study Tours be organised?
Regular Study Tours will be organised for IBA members to visit some interesting places for cultural, language and recreational activities. Discounted rates for Study Tours may be offered only to IBA Full Members.
9. How will IBA Conferences and Seminars be organised?
IBA Conferences and Seminars be organised for members to discuss how to improve their language skills, and explore new opportunities for language practice and application. Discounted rates for Conferences and Seminars may be offered only to IBA Full Members.
10. How does IBA provide Consulting Services for Overseas Study, Work, and Immigration?
IBA will partner with other professional organizations in providing members with consulting services for overseas study, work, and immigration. These services will be offered according to demand. Discounted rates for these services may be offered only to IBA Full Members.

语言交换项目是为国际双语协会合作会员和完全会员所设计的，让英文和中文学习者结为合作伙伴，以致能互教互学。根据每个会员提供的课程注册信息和要求，国际双语协会将预先安排一对一的合作伙伴。并在安排合作伙伴的过程中尽量满足每个会员的需要。
